Solar energy on roofs of service stations

DE-press-solar-tankstelle-c-max-lautenschlaeger

50 TOTAL service stations in Germany equipped with solar systems

TOTAL is increasingly relying on solar energy for the power supply of its service stations. The company has already installed photovoltaic modules on the roofs of 50 service stations in Germany. By the end of the year there will be 100 stations nationwide. Most of the electricity generated in this way is consumed directly on site and thus covers between 20 and 30 percent of the energy requirements of the respective service stations.
